Former Judge Keith Stokes-Roberts of Winona, MS; moronic loser

The Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance found Keith guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was Montgomery County Justice Court judge.

  • Keith, without notice to the Defendant, prompted the Plaintiff in a civil case to amend her complaint to his statutory maximum, $3,500.00
  • In the above matter, the plaintiff had merely requested $450.00 to satisfy an insufficient funds check
  • Keith ordered immediate eviction, again without notice to the defendant, though no such relief was prayed for in the Plaintiff’s complaint
  • Keith failed to notify defendant Gastineau of a new trial date
  • Engaged in willful misconduct in office
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Brought his judicial office into disrepute
  • Failed in his administrative duties by not directing the Clerk to issue process for the reset hearing date and ensuring that Gastineau received notice of the reset hearing date
  • Failed to give notice to Gastineau that she would face an eviction and a 700 percent increase in the amount of the judgment against her
  • Granted unrequested relief by evicting Gastineau
  • Acted with ignorance or disregard for any applicable rule of law (moron)
  • Gave legal advice to Gastineau’s opponent that directly harmed Gastineau

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $3,00.00 fine and assessed costs of $2,381.34.

As we speak (ca. April 2024), it is rumored that Keith has an application pending as a bathroom attendant at Carin’s Palace Strip Club at 464 Lafayette in Winona, Mississippi.
