Judge Wendell Williams of Fayette, MS; pompous loser

The Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance has charged Wendell with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Acted impatiently, rude and threatening toward court staff and people in the courtroom
• Suspended without pay
• Pushed a deputy justice court clerk
• Slapped the hand of a deputy justice court clerk
• Engaged in willful misconduct in office
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Brought his judicial office into disrepute

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Mississippi Supreme Court ordered that Wendell be suspended from the bench on an interim basis without pay during the pendency of the ethics process.

As we speak (ca. August 2021) it is rumored that while suspended Wendell has applied for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store located at 4283 Carter Street in Vidalia, Mississippi.
