Judge Teresa Bozeman of Hazlehurst, MS; dimwitted scofflaw

The Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance found Judge Boseman guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to maintain professional competence in the law (dimwit)
  • Misconduct brought judicial office into disrepute
  • Initiated improper ex parte (one-sided) communications to investigate a pending civil matter
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to comply with statutory limitations re: money judgements
  • Retaliated against complainant who filed a complaint with the Judicial Performance Commission
  • Exceeded the statutory limits of a civil judgment in justice court set forth in Mississippi Code by arbitrarily and illegally increasing landlord judgment from $2,557 to $3,949
  • Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
  • Failed to perform her judicial duties impartially
  • Failed to be faithful to the law (scofflaw)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Terry by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension with out pay and imposed a fine of $1,000.00.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Terry continues to practice her so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Copiah County Justice Court Judge in Hazlehurst, Mississippi.
