Judge Latrice Westbrooks of Jackson, MS; ethical goblin

The state of Mississippi provided Brent Douglas Shore with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law.

FYI: The University Detroit is ranked as the 164th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Mississippi Judicial Performance Commission found Latrice guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to timely file periodic campaign finance report that was due on October 9, 2020
• Failed to timely file periodic campaign finance report that was due on June 10, 2020
• Failed to timely file periodic campaign finance report that was due on July 10, 2020

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Judge Westbrooks by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. November 2020), Latrice continues to sit as a Court of Appeals Judge in Jackson, Mississippi.
