Magistrate Judge Rebecca Adams of Lexington, SC; Judge Roy Bean Wannabee

FYI: Judge Roy Bean was an infamous Justice of the Peace and saloon owner in Texas who called himself the "The Law West of the Pecos." Roy was also affectionately referred to as the Hanging Judge.

In one matter, Rebecca presided over a case involving Sasha Darby charging her with assault. The so-called Kangaroo Court trial conducted by Rebecca lasted an amazing eleven (11) minutes.

During the sham trial, Rebecca denied Ms. Darby her due process rights to be heard and her right to counsel. During the sham trial, the following conversation took place between Rebecca and Ms. Darby.

JUDGE ADAMS:

“You did hit her?”

““We’re having this trial, why?”

MS. DARBY:

“I’m not sure.”

“I’m not really familiar with legal terms.”

JUDGE ADAMS:

“I’m gonna find you guilty, by your own admission.”

Upon finding Ms. Darby guilty, Judge Adams fined her $1,000 and when she couldn’t pay the fine, she was later thrown in jail, ultimately losing her job and her home.

Judge Adams apparently is under the impression that the legal term “due process” is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the a.m. in the Lexington, South Carolina area.

And lastly, for providing her useless services in acting as a rogue judge, Rebecca is paid about $77,000 a year.

As we speak (ca. January 2020), Rebecca continues to sit as a Lexington County Magistrate judge in Lexington, South Carolina.
