Judge Gordon Johnson Sr. of Newberry, SC; bullying loser

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Gordy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Gordy attending of a meeting of the Newberry Cotillion Club. At the conclusion of the meeting, Gordy and another attendee engaged in a verbal disagreement that subsequently escalated into a physical altercation. Both Gordy and the other person suffered minor injuries during the scuffle.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Gordy by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension from the bench.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Gordon continues to sit as a magistrate judge for Newberry County in Newberry, South Carolina.
