Magistrate Judge Dwight Williamson of Logan, WV; moronic slacker

The Judicial Investigation Commission found Judge Dwight A. William guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform judicial duties competently (moron)
• Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications
• Failed to comply with the law
• Inappropriately advised parties they would be subject to criminal penalties if they violated “cooling off” order
• Made improper public comments about pending matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to act impartially and fairly
• Improperly drafted a mutual “cooling off” order in a personal safety order case where only one party had requested said relief

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Investigation Commission punished Dwight by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Dwight continues to sit as a Logan County Magistrate Judge in Logan, West Virginia.
