Judge Joseph Wright of Upper Marlboro, MD; lying loser

The state Maryland presented Joseph Leroy Wright with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Commission on Judicial Disabilities found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with the law
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to promote public confidence in the judiciary
  • Knowingly and deliberately made material misrepresentation [lied] on his application for consideration to be nominated for a position as a District Court judge for Prince George’s County

As a direct consequence of his misconduct and lying, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2019), Amy continues to sit as a District Court for Prince George’s County in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
