Judge Devy Russell of Baltimore, MD; ethical goblin

The state of Maryland provided Devy Russell with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from the Duke University School of Law.

The Maryland Commission on Judicial Disabilities has found Devy guilty of the following misconduct.

It should be noted that Devy has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past twenty-six (26) years since he received his law license in 1991.

• Neglected years of paperwork
• Showed contempt for her supervisors (Up yours, said Devy!)
• Improperly ordered her clerk to destroy old records
• Behaved with contempt towards he colleagues on the bench
• Displayed a consistent failure to perform the duties of her office
• Hindered the work of ethics investigators work by refusing to accept certified mail they sent and by misrepresenting facts (Screw you, said Devy!)
• Showed contempt for her supervisors

For neglecting her judicial duties for years, the overtaxed citizens of Baltimore and Maryland are made to pay Devy an annual salary of $141,333, which equates to $2,711 a week.

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Devy by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Devy continues to sit as an Associate District Court judge in Baltimore, Maryland.
