Judge Tom Campbell of Atlanta, GA; incompetent loser

The state of Georgia presented Tom Campbell with a law license in 1965 after he graduated from the University of Georgia Law School.

Georgia Ethics Laws mandate that all judges submit an annual financial disclosure statement wherein the report their income, assets and who gave them money for their political campaigns. Failure to so act provides for a mandatory fine of at least $125.00 for each violation.

When Judge Campbell was informed by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he was in violation of the mandatory reporting rules he responded by saying:

• “You’re saying that there are some outstanding fees? I don’t even know about that.”
• “I did not know about that.”
• “I don’t think I have a notice of that.”

Tommy’s excuse that he didn’t think he had notice of his failure to file his annual disclosure statements and the fees attendant thereto is per se not worthy of belief.

What Tommy is asking us to believe is that his intellectual acumen left him unable to appreciate and understand the simply language of the law mandating he file annual financial disclosure reports. If in fact Tommy is that ignorant, then he should do the citizens of Fulton County a favor and immediately resign.

And lastly, it should be noticed that Tommy owes and has owed the Ethics Commission $375 in fines (ca. late June 2016) for failing to file three (3) yearly financial disclosure statements

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Tommy continues to sit as a Cobb County Superior Court judge in Atlanta, Georgia.
