Judge Asha Jackson of Decatur, GA; incompetent imbecile

The state of Georgia presented Asha F. Jackson with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from Tulane University Law School.

Gov. Nathan Deal was duped into appointing Asha as a DeKalb County Circuit Court judge in 2011. Asha didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Decatur area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

Georgia Ethics Laws mandate that all judges submit an annual financial disclosure statement wherein the report their income, assets and who gave them money for their political campaigns. Failure to so act provides for a mandatory fine of at least $125.00 for each violation.

When Judge Jackson was informed by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he was in violation of the mandatory reporting rules he responded by saying:

“It was not until you guys started calling that I even realized I had an obligation to file.”

This statement is nothing more than an admission that Asha is an unabashed Imbecile. If she really was unaware for two or more years that she was required by law to file an annual financial disclosure statement, then she has no business sitting on the bench.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Asha continues to sit as a DeKalb County Superior Court judge in Decatur, Georgia.
