Donald “Trumporleone” Trump asks y’all to pray for “Celebrity Apprentice” ratings

While speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast on Feb 2, 2017, The Don found it appropriate to go into his “narcissist” routine by talking about the “Celebrity Apprentice” show and its current ratings. Towards that end, The Don told the assembled religious leaders:

• “When I ran for president, I had to leave the show.”
• “That’s when I knew for sure I was doing it [running for president].” he said.
• “And they hired a big, big movie star ― Arnold Schwarzenegger ― to take my place, and we know how that turned out: The ratings went right down the tubes.”
• “It’s been a total disaster.”

The Don went on to ask the religious leaders:

“I want to just pray for Arnold if we can for those ratings.”

Don the Egomaniac’s comments took place as he spoke about his relationship with “Celebrity Apprentice” creator Mark Burnett, who introduced him at the breakfast. The Don commented on Burnett by saying.

• “Mark will never, ever bet against Trump again.”

In a video, Schwarzenegger responded to The Don’s BS by saying:

• "Hey Donald, I have a great idea. Why don't we switch jobs?"
• "You take over TV because you're such an expert on ratings and I take over your job and then people can finally sleep comfortably again."
• “Arnold is praying that President Trump can start improving his own approval ratings, which were the worst in history for an incoming president, by taking his job seriously and working inclusively.”

Kudos to Arnold for basically telling The Don to kiss his ass.

And lastly, it takes a special kind of narcissistic A-hole to use a prayer breakfast for self-promotion and to whine about the ratings of a TV show.
