Trumps’ 9^th victim of Draining the Swamp: Texas Gov. Rick Perry

On December 14, 2016, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump announced his nomination of former Texas Gov. Rick Perry to be the next Energy Secretary.

It should be noted that Ricky has dedicated 30 years of his adult life (1984 to 2014) to porking out at the public trough. Had it not been for a government check, Ricky likely would have been working as a greeter at Walmart. This fact in and of itself is proof positive that

If you recall, Ricky is the Moron (my apologies to Morons) who couldn’t name the Energy Department as one of the three government agencies he would eliminate if elected president during the 2012 GOP presidential race.

During the 2016 republican presidential race, The Don made the following comments that clearly support the assertion that Ricky is a “Moron” andinadequate in his job as Governor.

• Perry lacks the “energy,” and the “brain power” to be effective president
• Perry “should be forced to take an IQ test before being allowed to enter the GOP debate.”
• “Gov. Perry did a terrible job.”
• “When he was governor of Texas he could have done a lot better in terms of securing the border.”
• “The job he in terms of border security was absolutely terrible.”

Can there be any doubt that The Don is correct in believing that Ricky is intellectually qualified to be the next Secretary of the Interior? The same is true of Ricky’s ability to provide superior services to the public as its next Interior Secretary.

During the 2016 republican presidential race, Ricky made the following flattering comments about The Don.

• “He [Trump] He offers a barking carnival act that can be best described as Trumpism: a toxic mix of demagoguery, mean-spiritedness and nonsense that will lead the Republican Party to perdition if pursued.”
• “Let no one be mistaken: Donald Trump's candidacy is a cancer on conservatism.”
• “It must be clearly diagnosed [Trumpism], excised and discarded.”

It is patently clear that Ricky the Lackey is more than happy to become an active member of The Don’s “barking carnival act” that he once denounced.

It is well known that Ricky is a lifelong lackey for the energy sector in Texas. In fact, he is the “poster child” for eliminating the Energy Department and its rules/regulations intended to reign in an industry hellbent on destroying national lands and parks in the pursuit of oil and gas.

With Ricky’s pick as the new Energy Czar we can be confident that nobody in the federal government will be looking out for the environment nor will there be anybody seeking to protect our national parks.
