Should hard-up Madison, WI taxpayers pay the costs of Viagra for its teachers?

The media has recently reported that the Union representing the teachings in Madison, Wisconsin recently demanded that the overburdened taxpayers foot the bill for the costs to provide Viagra to the teachers.

Personally Boyz and Girls, given Madison’s direct financial problems, I don’t know where these clowns get off making such an outrageous demand.

FYI: and for some relevant background, after being honorably discharged in 1965 during the so-called Vietnam War, I returned to Toledo, Ohio. I then found a job at U.S. Reduction and ended up on a team that negotiated with Local 20 of the Teamster’s Union on a contract. Now, in hindsight, I don’t think I would have had the gonads to demand that the Company pay the costs incurred by employees to purchase “Spanish Fly” (the alleged aphrodisiac of the time).

I’m confident that if I had made such a preposterous demand upon Mr. Williams (chief negotiator from East Chicago) that’d he’d have immediately blown me off so to speak.

Could it be that some of the teachers in Madison, Wisonsin spend way too much time on their computers? If so, this could explain why they are demanding that the taxpayers foot the bill for purchaes of Viagra.

In my opinion, this doesn’t really rise to the level of a real medical problem like Cancer or Alzheimer’s, if ya know what I’m sayin’.

And lastly, if a feller cannot get-it-up upon a reasonable request from his spouse, then how in the hell does one justify hosing the taxpayers for the cost to become a performer rather than a non-performer?
