Trump’s 4^th victim of Draining the Swamp: U.S. Rep. Tom Price (GA)

In an obvious effort to appease his “Repeal Obamacare” supporters, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump announced on November 29, 2016, the nomination of U.S. Rep. Tom Price from Georgia to be the next Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

For the past twenty years, Tommy has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough as an elected state legislator and member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Tommy has made no secret of his total disdain and contempt for Obamacare. As an orthopedic surgeon, Tommy falsely claims that one way to reduce the cost of medical care is to basically eliminate medical malpractice lawsuits. In truth, if it was illegal to sue a doctor or hospital for malpractice it wouldn’t have hardly any impact on the overall costs of health care. However, it would allow for Tommy and his compatriots to pocket tens-of-thousands in additional yearly profits at the expense of their patients.

Evidence of Tommy’s right-wing ideology is proven by his support of the following:

• Voted against legislation prohibiting job discrimination based on sexual orientation
• Voted against bill prohibiting Obama from withdrawing forces from Iraq

It is patently clear that Tommy is yet another longtime “swamp dweller” who has curried favor with The Don because of his right-wing ideology.
