Are Republican’s who say regulating Wall Street is a “Job Killer” certified Screwballs?

Well respected Republicans including intellectual luminaries (Wizards all) such as Rep. Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin, and acknowledged gurus like Newt Gingrich argue that regulations imposed on Wall Street and/or the Banking Industry by the Obama administration are “job killers.”

I’m just an old feller from the Buckeye State who recently (ca. 2008) moved to La La Land (Kaleefornia), and I’m having great difficulty in understanding how regulations on those who caused the devastating meltdown of the economy would suffer “job losses” due to regulations aimed at preventing a repeat.

Now, let’s take a moment and talk about a real job killer unless they’re talking about the CEO’s being unable to employ additional chauffeurs, maids and/or butlers.

It certainly cannot be disputed that the late Jeffrey Dahmer was the quintessential “job killer.”

Jeff’s rather novel diet was clearly responsible for the decline in jobs at restaurants in Milwaukee that specialized in vegetarian menus such as (a) Beans & Barley, (b) Hotch-a-do, (c) the Cornet Café, and (d) the Bremen Café.

To be fair to practicing aficionados of Jeffrey’s dietary choices, it would only be fair to say that his rump roast recipe was just out-of-this-world.

Ya gotta wonder if Bachman, et al. are dipping into Grandmas prescription drugs in putting forth such claims, if y’all know what I mean.
