Attorney Cynthia Brown of Folsom, CA; repeat offender

The state of California provided Cynthia Brown with a law license in 1985 after she graduated from Southwestern University Law School in Los Angeles.

The California State Bar found Cynthia guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain client funder in trust account
  • Criminally convicted of collecting advance fees for loan modification work
  • Failed to refund $299 filing fee to client

As one would suspect, this isn’t Cynthia’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received a complimentary suspension of her law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Cynthia by gifting her with a complimentary 120-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Cynthia practices with the Cinder Law Group at 750 Oak Avenue Parkway in Folsom, California.
