Attorney Michael Cantarutti of Santa Rosa, CA; serial offender

The state of California provided Michael S. Cantarutti with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento, which is a 4thtier school dedicated to serving losers that couldn’t get accep ted into mainstream schools like UCLA, Pepperdine, USC or Stanford.

 

The California State Bar found Mike guilty of the following misconduct

 

Mike’s 1stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree  

  • Improperly threatened another attorney with malpractice lawsuit
  • Demanded more in fees than employment contract called for
  • Failed to promptly release settlement funds to client
  • Charged an unconscionable fee (cheater)
  • Filed an unjust and meritless legal action
  • Exaggerated and lied to court

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

 

Mike’s 2ndbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree  

  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license was suspended
  • Charged an unconscionable fee (cheater)
  • Improperly split fee with another attorney
  • Coerced client to sign a document stating that neither party owned the other any money

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

 

Mike’s 3rdbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree  

  • Made unauthorized contact with represented party
  • Failed to promptly deliver settlement funds to client

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Mike practices at 1514 Hopper Avenue in Santa Rosa, California.
