Attorney Richard Yarow of Portsmouth, VA; ethical gremlin

The state of Virginia presented Richard Scott Yarow with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Mercer University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Filed Application for Placement on the Court Appointed List of the Circuit Court in Norfolk, falsely certifying that his principal office was located in the City of Norfolk when it was located in the City of Hampton
  • Engaged in a deliberate act reflecting adversely on fitness to practice law
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Dick practices at 524 Middle Street in Portsmouth, Virginia.
