Attorney Charles Phillips of Salem, VA; ethical elf  

The state of Virginia presented Charles Gregory Phillips with a law license in 1991.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to promptly respond to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Charlie!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Charlie practices with Phillips & Phillips at 111 East Clay Street in Salem, Virginia.
