Today’s “Moron” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Scotty. In the past, he has been the recipient of one (1) Screwball Award, which can be viewed by going to Screwball Award category.

Doug succeeded in duping the voters in the greater Poplar Bluff area into electing him to a seat in the Missouri State Senate.

In response to the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson lat year, Doug decided to introduce some screwy legislation that is specifically aimed at protecting police officers by denying public access to video tapes of police arrests, etc.

Doug’s legislation would exempt any videos taken police, including everything from body cameras to dashboard cameras, from public release. If this moronic law ever passes, it would ban taxpaying public from ever viewing any such videos.

Doug’s moronic legislation also states that “no law enforcement agency shall be required by the state to provide cameras... to officers employed by the agency, not shall the state require any peace officer to wear such cameras.”

What this Certified Buffoon (my apologies to buffoons) fails to appreciate is that the cameras used by the police were purchased by the taxpayers he pretends to represent.

Congrats Doug; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Morons”; you are far too humble.
