Judge Eric Myers of Tampa, FL; wife beating loser

The state of Florida presented Eric R. Myers with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Howard University Law School.

In 2000, former Gov. Jeb Bush was duped into appointing Eric as Hillsborough County judge. Eric wasn’t appointed because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Tampa area. He received the appointment because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

Over the past twenty-three years (ca. 1992-2015), Eric has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the Tampa area was about to offer Eric a good paying job.

In one matter, Eric was arrested on domestic violence charges on January 15, 2015. He was ordered to stay away from his wife, Shirley Sanchez-Myers and their five-year-old daughter.

In her request for an injunction for protection against domestic violence, Shirley said “Eric slapped & punched me on my face & head, as well as pulled my hair. All of the hits to my head caused me to black out & lose consciousness.”

Police records show that Eric admitted to the police that he had grabbed Shirley by the hair and struck her in the face. The report goes on to show that officers tookphotos of her injuries on her face, neck, and the back of her head.

As we speak (ca. February 12, 2015), Eric the Wife Beater has yet to face trial. However, he remains sitting as a Hillsborough County judge in Tampa, Florida.
