Attorney David Brunelle Jr. of South Hadley, MA; repeat offender

The state of Massachusetts presented David L. Brunelle Jr. wi th a law license in 1991.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client accurately informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to fully comply with opposing counsel’s discovery requests
• Misconduct caused client to forever lose her claim against defendant
• Failed to advise client that motions to dismiss her case had been filed

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Dave’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Dave by gifting him with another complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dave.
