Attorney Eric Jackson of Indianapolis; ethical leprechaun

The state of Indiana provided Eric L. Jackson with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Indiana University Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Eric guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to promptly inform client of circumstance re: limited scope of representation
  • Failed to consult with client re: means to accomplish client objectives
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to obtain client’s required approval of a fee division
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff
  • Assisted non-attorney in the unauthorized practice of law
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonest, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary 120-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2015) Eric practices with The Law Office of Eric L. Jackson at 5690 Winthrop Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana.
