Attorney Thomas Petersen of Omaha; ethical gremlin

The state of Nebraska presented Thomas Marlan Petersen with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Creighton University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform duties owed to client
• Lack of due diligence necessitated appointment of another attorney
• Failed to file appeal brief on client’s behalf

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Tommy practices with The Petersen Law Offices at 12020 Shamrock Plaza in Omaha, Nebraska.
