Attorney Michael Ogborn of Denver; thieving loser

The state of Colorado presented Michael J. Ogborn with a law license in 1972.

Disciplinary Counsel found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  2. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  3. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  4. Submitted fabricated billing statements to corporate client
  5. Illegally billed client for personal expenses
  6. Illegal billing of client for $150,000 that included:
  7. Air travel for children
  8. Vacations to Hawaii and Alaska
  9. Various gifts and clothing
  10. A bronze sculpture

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Colorado are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Mike was never criminally charged for grand larceny.

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Mike practices with Ogborn Mihm LLP at 1700 Broadway in Denver, Colorado.
