Attorney Skipper Drost of Lake Charles, LA; ethical elf

The state of Louisiana presented Skipper Maurice Drost with a law  license in 1978 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Skipper guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Entered into prohibited business transaction with client
  • Notarized a will that was not signed by the testator in his presence

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Skipper by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Skipper practices at 1 Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
