Attorney Sidney Hall of Baton Rouge; ethical dwarf

The state of Louisiana presented Sidney W. Hall with a law lic ense in 1975 after he graduated from Southern University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Sid guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Sid by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Sid.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Sid practices at 1704 Convention Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
