The state of Louisiana presented Tanzanika Qiann Ruffin with a  law license in 2004.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Tanzanika guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Tanzanika found it acceptable to abuse her position as an assistant district attorney to threatened criminal prosecution for the purpose of gaining an advantage in a civil matter.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Tanzanika by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her aw license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Tanzanika practices at 4000 Bienville Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
