Attorney Cindy Williams of Metairie, LA; ethical misfit

The state of Louisiana presented Cindy M. Williams with a law licens e in 1983.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Cindy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Improperly paid business expenses from her office trust account
  • Improperly made checks payable to cash from her office trust account

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Cindy by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Cindy.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Cindy practices with Cindy William APLC at 111 Veterans Blvd in Metairie, Louisiana.
