Attorney Clifford Newman of Lake Charles, LA; ethical gremlin

The state of Louisiana presented Clifford L. Newman with a law licen se in 1971.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to have written contingent fee contract
• Engaged in conflict of interest
• Failed to comply with obligations to client after being fired

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Cliff by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Cliff practices with The Newman Law Firm LLC at 1925 Enterprise Blvd in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
