Today’s “Joseph Goebbels” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Patty. In the past, he has been the recipient of four(4) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of two (2) opinion pieces. Those awards and opinion pieces are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

FYI: Joseph Goebbels was the quintessential truth-teller during his tenure as the chief purveyor of propaganda for the Third Reich prior to and during World War II.

During a recent (02/03/15) column appearing in WorldNetDaily comedy blog, titled: “Obama’s Willie Horton plan: Release all murderers,” Patty disparages Obama’s goal to close Guantanamo Bay (GITMO).

Patty laughingly compared Obama’s GITMO plan to the furlough program in Massachusetts that self-serving GOP bigots blamed on Willie Horton’s crime spree. Patty then said:

• Obama might begin “emptying and shutting down all our prisons and just let all the offenders be released back into society.”
• “Obama and his administration are already doing that – deporting criminal illegal aliens, and then allowing them to come right back in to commit more crimes.”
• Obama policies will lead to “a a mass invasion by illegal aliens, including near certain terrorists with plans for future 9/11 style attacks in our own cities.”

Patty rounded out his screwy rant by saying:

• All of this is meant to turn America “into a virtual socialist, if not outright communist, society.”

At 80-years-of-age, you’d think that Patty would have mellowed by now. Apparently he’s still pissed off that Elvis was a bigger star than he was. In 1957 Elvis’ “All Shook Up” was No. 1 and Patty’s “Love Letters in the Sand” was No. 2. However, this years-long angst shouldn’t be cause for Patty to defame Obama.

Congrats Patty; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Truth-Tellers”; you are far too humble.
