The state of Texas presented Michael L. Davis with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The District 3-B Grievance Committee found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to comply with client information requests

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Mike.
