Attorney Albert Singer of Raleigh; ethical gremlin

The state of North Carolina provided Albert J. Singer with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Samford University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Samp guilty of the following misconduct involving a number of child custody cases.

  • Permitted his clients to file false affidavits affirming that clients were indigent [subornation of perjury]
  • Failed to make mandatory disclosures to trial court
  • Engaged in a conflicts of interest

Because Attorney Misfits in North Carolina are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Albert was never criminally charged with subornation of perjury.

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Albert by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2015) Albert practices in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.
