Attorney Johnny Gaskins of Raleigh; repeat offender

 

The state of North Carolina provided Johnny S. Gaskins with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Samford University School of Law.

 

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Johnny’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Johnny was convicted by a jury in federal court of seven counts of violating federal law for structuring financial transactions with banks for the purpose of evading the reporting requirements imposed by federal.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

 

Johnny’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Made improper statements to media regarding client Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Prejudiced client’s case by mouthing off to the media

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. January 2015) Johnny practices at Two Hannover Square in Raleigh, North Carolina.
