Attorney Diedra Whitted of Goldsboro, NC; serial offender

The state of North Carolina presented Diedra Lynn Whitted with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Samford University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Diedra guilty of the following misconduct.

Diedra’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Diedra failed to keep her client informed as to the status of the client’s then pending legal matter.

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Diedra by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

Diedra’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Paid herself a fee of $11,415 w/o receiving court approval
• Failed to provide court with notarized statement from heirs approving $11,415 fee
• Failed to reveal to all heirs that Court had questioned veracity of $11,415 fee
• Failed to provide information to Court setting out the time spent working on the estate

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Diedra by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

Diedra’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Diedra’s client filed a petition for fee dispute resolution with the North Carolina State Bar. Despite receiving said  letter, Diedra failed to respond in any manner. Put simply, Diedra said, Up yours!

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Diedra by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2015) Diedra practices at 105 South John Street in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
