Judge Michael Fletcher of Yerington, NV; drunken loser

The Nevada Judicial Conduct Commission found Judge Stephen guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Failed to avoid impropriety
• Engaged in improper extra-judicial activities
• Engaged in conduct that undermined his integrity (What integrity?)
• Appeared in court while drunk
• Drunk while meeting at Dino’s Casino in Yerington with a court clerk and discussing personal matters in his capacity as a judge
• Consuming alcohol while driving to Yerington in a county vehicle
• Drunk while sitting as Municipal Court judge in Yerington
• Made inappropriate comments to court clerk while sitting as judge in Yerington
• Drunk while attending opening ceremony of the new Lyon County Justice complex
• Consuming alcohol while driving from his residence to court
• Drunk while possessing a firearm Lyon County Justice complex

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Mike continues to sit as a Walker River Justice of the Peace of Lyon County in Yerington, Nevada.
