Attorney Ty Gibson of Houston; ethical leprechaun
The state of Texas presented Ty Alexander Gibson with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.
The District 4 Grievance Committee found Ty guilty of the following misconduct.
- Encouraged or permitted conduct by non-lawyer that violated Disciplinary Rules
- Paid non-lawyer to solicit (ambulance chasing) prospective clients (victims)
- Accepted or continued employment procured in violation of Disciplinary Rules
- Committed a criminal act
- Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Ty by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. January 2015), Ty practices with Hill Legal PC at 2000 Smith Street in Houston, Texas.
