Attorney Albert Biel Jr. of El Paso; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Stephen Dongwhee Hwang with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Texas Tech University Law School.

The District 17 Grievance Committee found Steve guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to render full accounting of fees paid
  • Failed to return client file after being discharged
  • Failed to return unearned fees (crook)
  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him

As one would suspect this wasn’t Al’s first bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Steve by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Steve practices at 615 East Schuster Avenue in El Paso, Texas.
