Attorney Joseph Conte of DC; ethical misfit

The DC Bar presented Joseph R. Conte with a law license in 1982.

The DC Bar Counsel found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

While representing a client in a serious felony case, Joey failed to conduct a sufficient investigation of his client’s defense and version of events, to prepare his client or his client’s witness adequately to testify, and to obtain a copy of the preliminary hearing transcript.

As a consequence of him misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Herb by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Joey practices with the Law Offices of JR Conte PLLC at 400 Seventh Street in Washington, DC.
