Attorney Richard Schnieders of Carlsbad, CA; drunken loser

The state of California presented Richard James Schnieders with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of San Diego Law School.

The California State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

In October 2013, the Carlsbad Police responded to a call from a woman who reported that a reckless driver was driving a silver Honda on the wrong side of the road, drove over a curve, drove in circles in the roadway, then pulled into a Shell gas station.

When police arrived they noticed the engine running and Dick still in the car with his head facing down. The office woke Dick, whose eyes were watery, unfocused, and whose speech was slurred. As expected, Dick denied he had been drinking and refused to cooperate with two field sobriety tests.

The officer arrested Dick and looked inside the car wherein he observed one open bottle of vodka, and two empty 24 ounce cans of beer. A blood test proved that Dick’s alcohol level was 3.0 which were almost four times the legal limit.

Subsequently, Dick pled guilty to driving under the influence and admitted it was his second conviction. He was then sentenced to 90-days home detention and four years of probation.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reproval.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Dick practices at 822 Okra Court in Carlsbad, California, which is located in San Diego County.
