Attorney Christopher Burns of Kingston, NY; cheater

The state of New York presented Christopher Alan Burns with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the New England Law School.

The Second Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• Collected an impermissible non-fundable fee from client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to promptly refund unearned portion of fee

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Second Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Chris practices at 369 Washington Avenue in Kingston, New York.
