The state of Washington presented William Robert Brendgard with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Gonzaga University Law School.

 

The Washington State Bar found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Billy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to preserve identify of client funds
  • Failed to decline or terminate representation as required
  • Failed to act with due diligence
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to refund unearned advance fee upon withdrawal (cheater)
  • Failed to deposit client funds into trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Billy’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to act with due diligence
  • Failed to expedite litigation
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to abide by client’s decisions re: objectives of representation
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client requests for information

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a second complimentary reprimand.

 

Billy’s 3rd v bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Billy practices at 215 West Fourth Street in Vancouver, Washington.
