Attorney Anissa Bluebaum of Republic, MO; ethical leprechaun

The state of Missouri presented Anissa Faye Whittle Bluebaum with a law license in 2004.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Anissa guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests after being fired
  • Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff
  • Engaged in improper solicitations of future clients (ambulance chasing)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Anissa by gifting her with a complimentary stayed suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on Disciplinary Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Anissa.

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Anissa practices with The Law Offices of Anissa Bluebaum in Republic, Missouri.
