Solicitor Brian Phillips of New South Wales; ethical elf

The Law Society of New South Wales presented Brian Arthur Phillips with a law license in 1963.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Breached fiduciary duties by accepting gift from a client
  • Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
  • Knowingly swore to false affidavits

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Brian practices with BP Costing Services Ltd. at 243 Hudson Parade Clareville, New South Wales, Australia.
