Judge Daniel Healy of Fairfield, CA; foul mouth loser

The state of California presented Daniel James Healy with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Duke University Law School.

The California Commission on Judicial Performance found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Danny presided over a family law case wherein the issues before him included allegations that the mother had driven in the middle of the night, while intoxicated, with her small children in the car.

In August 2013, Danny presided over a hearing to discuss the case and to “get to the bottom of” what happened.  The mother said she’d like a chance to respond. Danny said that both parties would get their chance to be heard, and he then stated:

“But I don’t think either of you understand the beatdown that is coming, because this child deserves a thousand times better than all of this drama.”

Danny then said he through the parties (husband and wife) were “just rotten.” He then went on to say:

• “I think that I do not have any evidence in front of me rising to the level of any chronic abuse of anything or rises to a level regarding drugs or alcohol.”
• “I just think, to be honest with you, sometimes people are just rotten, and they can’t respect other people.”
• “Everything’s drama. It’s like they’re trying out for Jersey Shore.”
• “You guys just both strike me as rotten.”
• “Maybe what I should do is have CPS [Child Protective Services] save your child from both of you because you are both rotten.”

Subsequently, the mother told Danny that she was merely trying to prove to him that she was not a liar, to which Danny said:

“Okay. Why don’t you prove to me that you recognize what a train wreck you are, and then maybe we’ll be somewhere?”

Danny finished up his perverted rant by saying to the Mother:

“The question is how hard do I have to beat you before we get going and I know I’ve been beating you pretty hard here today.”

During a follow-up hearing, Danny told the mother’s attorney that she was “executing the wrong play book” and “ought to be groveling like there is no tomorrow and you ought to be trying to re-boot, create a little time out trying to undo some of the damage your client has done rather than selling her as something other than the total human disaster that she is or at least appears to be so far.

In a second matter, while Danny presided over a custody motion, he stated that if the mother “had been smart enough,” he son would not have had to go through the process of changing schools. He followed up by saying that “now your son is screwed.”

In a third matter, while Danny presided over a family law case, he remarked that the father’s claim he could get a job was “pie in the sky because he was morbidly obese and at risk of dying any time.”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Danny continues to sit as a Solano County Superior Court judge in Fairfield, California.
