Attorney Brian Brown of Raleigh, NC; ethical elf

The District of Columbia Bar presented Brian R. Brown with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from William & Mary University Law School.

The DC Bar Counsel found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed in duty of safekeeping client papers
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failure to supervise paralegal led to embezzlement of $200,000 in client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary censure.   

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Brian practices with K&L Gates LLP at 4350 Lassiter at North Hills Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina.
