Attorney Peter Tourison of North Cape May, NJ; drunken convict

The state of New Jersey provided Peter M. Tourison with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from California Western Law School.

Peter’s misconduct arose while he was sitting as a Municipal Court judge in the City of Cape May, Borough of Stone Harbor, and Middle Township. Therefore, the New Jersey Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Pete was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI), caused property damage, driving down the wrong side of the highway.

Pete also interfered with the police investigative process by applying ChapStick to his lips and putting a penny in his mouth, which he knew could have altered the blood-alcohol test results.

Subsequently, Pete the Boozer pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for judicial misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Pete by giving him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Pete practices in the North Cape May, New Jersey area.
