Attorney Marshal Gibson of New Haven; ethical misfit

The state of Connecticut provided Marshal D. Gibson with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from the University of Bridgeport Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Marshal guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to adequately communicate with client
  • Failed to advise client he would bill her for preparing tax returns
  • Failed to provide client with clear and unambiguous fee agreement

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Marshall by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2014) Marshall practices with the Law Office of Marshall D. Gibson PC at 265 Church Street in New Haven, Connecticut.
