Attorney Lorenzo Brown of Desoto, TX; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Lorenzo Brown with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Law School.

The District 6 Grievance Committee found Eric guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Lorenzo was hired to represent a client regarding a personal injury that resulted from an automobile accident.

During his so-called representation of the client, Lorenzo failed to hold funds belonging to the client that were in his possession separate from his own personal funds.

Making matters worse, Lorenzo failed to promptly deliver to the client funds that the client was lawfully entitled to receive.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Lorenzo’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Lorenzo by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Lorenzo practices with Lorenzo Brown & Associates PC at 1700 North Hampton Road in Desoto, Texas.
